The performance Poefff by Lichtbende is a very special introduction to rarely shown light images in combination with sounds and music made on the spot. The audience will experience the directly made projections and music fascinatingly and will be carried away into a fantastic and wordless world of surprising and mysterious images.

The 40-minute performance opens with the shadow projection of an elegant tree in which two birds are nesting. With a rising sun, the musical light image story of Poefff begins, a young bird that grows up as an orphan and goes in search of its own kind. Breathlessly you follow his poetic, exciting and funny light-air journey, to end with a deep sigh.

All image projections, which can be seen on a gigantic fluttering sheet, are accompanied by beautiful music of wind instruments and special sounds. Together they form an exceptionally unique performance for young and old (from 4 to 104 years).

The players stand with their projectors, magic lanterns and instruments in front of the screen, so that the audience can see and hear everything they do. Afterwards there is a short demonstration of the magic lantern.
