A contemporary fairy tale about love, grief and struggle in a special narrative form, beautifully crafted with stunning visuals, ingenious shadow theatre technique and live accordion music.<\/p>

Two endearing flies meet each other in the light of a table lamp. Then it turns out there is another whole world with fabulous creatures they don’t know about. They become entangled in the most bizarre situations where all sight of reality disappears. A possessed collector in his land of bottles, a sky of flowers that are not flowers and toys that come to life. In a carousel of emotions, imagination and reality tumble over each other. Fortunately, the flies are real, or are they?

Lichtbende brings light to life with live animations. Poetically associative light art performances with music, visual art and theatre that merge before your eyes into a cinematic adventure. You will see for yourself how the show is made with everyday objects and materials that are brought to life manually with inventive lighting and shadowing techniques.<\/p>

The performance will be followed by a short demonstration where the children can ask all their \u201chow-to-do-that\u201d questions. In addition to workshops, Lichtbende has teaching materials available for schools.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u2018Lichtbende\u2019 performed a 20-minute tryout of an already strong and magically stunning house piece Fly me to the Moon. Two round tables with circular shadows and projection screens are inventively played by a man, Rob Logister, and a woman, Marie Raemakers, the Lichtbende’s regular core. Love scenes are larded with live accordion music played by Wilco Oomkes. These were their first stirrings of a light show that should become a full-evening production.
