GARDEN OF DELIGHT

Licht-Art Concert with organ, vocals, percussion, strings

 and live projections

 60 min.

Garden of Delight is inspired by William Blake's poem Garden of Love and Song of Songs from the old Testament.

An emotional journey about Love at first,... and second sight.

With Garden of Delight, Lichtbende shows the Love of man and how it has been sung about as a gift of God since the beginning of mankind, but is at the same time smeared and suppressed by the same human being. A reflection on love in all its facets.

Javier López Pińón:

"As an audience you can only surrender to this seamless combination of image and music. A performance that passes by as if you are leafing through a book of poetry. With Garden of Delight the hope is kept alive, that longing, including the despair that is part of it may always remain a source of joy in life, and that beauty is indeed able to provide comfort."
